What developer powder & carrier do

Carrier beads form the magnetic brush and charge the toner by friction. The coating wears with page count, so carrier is replaced on a life count on machines with a separate developer housing.

How to identify the right part

Match carrier type and pack weight to the machine. Where the machine has a sealed developer unit, the carrier is not serviced separately.

Signs a replacement is due

Light images, poor toner charging, a developer or carrier life warning, or grey carry-over onto the sheet.

Grades available
